The craft displayed here is wonderful. But in my experience about 2/3 of the English on the Web is semiliterate at best. That is dismaying. If you can't write well, you can't convey your ideas well. I built and carved that harp. I play it too.
This isn't about someone's knowledge or usage of ENGLISH... Its about ART. It is very possible that after translation to our English that his language messed up. I have had this happen to me in email. Maybe he did it to attract attention and be different. Point accomplished. Oh and by the way... your "link" to your harp doesn't work. HMMMM... Maybe its your ENGLISH.....

Frankly, I'm leaning toward Kate's view that this is a translation to English, since the site has since been changed to reflect leaves as plural, but left the the singular indefinite article "a" leaves. At any rate, I'm going to print the page and try it this fall myself, because it is very cool. As to the harp, the goldanged url cut off when I posted it, so here it is again.You can't cut and paste it, but it does work if you type it in. You might check it out, to ascertain that I do indeed respect art and craft, not only in writing, but in the manual and fine arts.

How nice that someone took the time to post these instructions; how original. "hat", Misspelling the plural of "leaves" as "leafs" is more likely ignorance than stupidity. However, in this case I think it was just an editing error. So I agree that you should lighten up and am glad to see you have. Also, I believe you probably carved and made the harp; unless you carved it after you assembled it.
hat - That is a horrible website my friend. Maybe you should spend more time learning web design and less time running your mouth.
